Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery
The Division of Otolaryngology performs over 4,500 operative procedures a year. Special programs within the Division include the Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery program, Level I Otolaryngology Trauma Care, the Comprehensive Head and Neck Oncology Center, the only Vestibular Dysfunction Center in North Carolina, a Head and Neck Melanoma Program, and a Diving Related Disease Center. Multidisciplinary programs include the Center for Skull Base Surgery, the Cranial Nerve Center, Laryngology/Voice Center, and the Comprehensive Evaluation of Hearing Loss in children, which includes a cochlear implant program.
